Questions regarding Bleemcast! article..

Does anyone know how exactly games are re-compiled with the generic Bleemcast! release? Is it do-able by yourself..as easy as swapping files or adding an .ISO inside of a CD?

I'm incredibly interested in getting a few of those on my hands, as I have a lot of those games(Parappa being one).
