Infinity Blade iPhone.
Infinity Blade iPhone.
Who's got this yet? It's like Demon's Souls: Portable. Amazing graphics, strangely addictive gameplay. Extremely short (you can do a bloodline in about 15 minutes if that) but that's not really the point of it.

Re: Infinity Blade
iPhone apparently.
Re: Infinity Blade
Yeah, I'm kind of bummed out because its only for iPod Touch 3rd generation or after. It's for iPhone but I don't know which models, maybe only the one's with the retna display. I really want to play it. I've posted before about my interest in iPhone/iPod gaming. I think we'll see some awesome titles and new ideas in the next few years.
Niode, check out Braveheart. Its a whole lot less heavy weight than Infinity Blade or Rage HD (another one I can't play) but its really fun, sort of channels Diablo. There's not really loot drops but you shop to upgrade your weapons.
Also, how is that high resolution retna display? I haven't seen one yet.

Sorry, should have put it in the title.fastbilly1 wrote:iPhone apparently.
It's running on Epic's Unreal Engine 3 for IOS, the same one that was powering Epic Citadel. The game looks amazing. The controls are some of the best yet on the device and it's oddly addicting, I'm on my 4th bloodline now and I'm still playing it when I get a spare 10 minutes.
According to some reviews it doesn't work on the 8gb iTouch 3rd gen but works on 16GB and above. It works on iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4. It's also on iPad as well.Cronson wrote:Yeah, I'm kind of bummed out because its only for iPod Touch 3rd generation or after. I'll have a look at Braveheart, thanks for the suggestion.
The retina display is amazing, you seriously have to see it to believe it. You can read entire webpages on it without needing to zoom in. The galaxy S is a nice looking screen but it's just not as nice to look at as the iPhone 4, it's not as big resolution wise either, plus you can't see the pixels in the iPhone 4, at all. Seriously, you simply can't focus on them they're they're just that small.

Quick Question: Is there a list of what games/apps are compatible with which iDevices? I'm seriously getting an iPod touch, but the 4th Gen seems waaaay too expensive so I might get the 3rd Gen.

Re: Infinity Blade iPhone.
Speaking of iPhone games that Niode likes, I'm pretty sure you already know this, but:

Not my bag, but I know you're a die-hard Bad Company 2 fan, so I thought I should let you know.

Re: Infinity Blade iPhone.
A lot of new games are requiring the 3rd gen 32GB or newer 4G models lately. As far as I can tell from the ones I have purchased they run flawlessly on the 3G 32GB model.
Infinity Blade is pretty nice...I like the pick up and play factor but I really wish there was a little more freedom and exploration. Still it is an impressive title. I'm not a huge fan of Rage HD simply because it isn't my kind of game but it is still impressive as well.
I want to get Aralon and that is likely my next purchase. It seemed to disappoint since it was promised to be open like Oblivion but didn't quite live up to the hype. I still want to give it a go though since it seems like a different sort of game than anything else that is currently available.
I could have gone with the 4G 8GB touch for what I paid for my 3G 32GB model and sometimes I am disappointed that I didn't but the new titles are quite large so it is really give and take.
I really like where they are going with some of these new titles though. They are starting to throw some real resources into development and it shows.

I actually found the iTunes Games Page to be pretty useful to finding out what iDevice a games works on. However, as far as I can tell, it won't say whether a 16GB or 32GB version is required.
