Apparently Castle Crashers could be coming to XBLA sooner than expected. There's some conflicting reports on this thread, but the hands-on impression is still very positive.

Final Fantasy VII remake
I know I know this isnt coming out but....
the people at square have said many times that they didnt did that tech demo for nothing......
Now being realistic
Heavenly sword, Castle Crashers, and all the nintendo shit you can get(smash brothers brawl, mario galaxy, wiifit, sonic and mario olympic). I dont want nothing for the 360 it really let me down Im really considering the fact after I get castle crashers and really trading it up or selling it. If you see all the games everything is fps, guns with demons or monsters. No platformer whatsoever or a decent fighter or a stealth game. I got the 3 next gen consoles and im a nintendo fan since the demise of sega and I think only nintendo and playstation even with their small library right now has more variety than the 360.
If you dont know what im talking about here a quick example.

Forza Motorsport 2
Need for Speed most wanted
Need for Speed Carbon
Burnout Revenge
All the NBA shit
Gears of War
Bullet Witch
Bioshock (this one I have to say personally an awesome game highly recommended. 2k really did an awesome job)
Lost Planet
BTW Im not flaming microsoft or anything or sony or whatever. But hey you guys you remember and still when you played sonic the hedgehog, or mario world or nights, astal, jet grind radio, act raiser, beyond oasis, three dirty dwarves, zelda a link to the past, final fight and I could go on.
We the gamers had a choice now the industry only got us in the FPS and 3d fighters and shit.

I probably shouldn't praise Sony though. The gaming industry really hasn't been the same since Sony killed the Dreamcast. The PS 2, and maybe to some extent the PS 1 really moved the industry towards focusing on differenct types of games. Remember the whole Sony embargo against 2-d games they once had. Even though Sony has offered us more variety over the years than either of Microsoft's consoles, they are still largely responsible for the shift towards more mainstream games.
I'm very much looking forward to Bionic Command Rearmed and Castle Crashers even though I don't have a console to play them currently.
On the DS side (my only "current" platform), I'm looking forward to the new Advance Wars.

Have I plugged Spore in this thread before?
Other than that, I have so many nice old games to play I don't really get so hyped about new releases anymore. I was slightly anticipating Hellgate as I'm a huge Diablo fan, but it seems like it wasn't all that in the end so I didn't even try it so far.
I'm always hoping that good and innovative stuff comes out on the Wii (even though I don't have one) or the DS with great, intuitive controls, because I'm really into that sort of stuff (I loved Daggerfall having you swing the mouse to swing the weapons, Black & White's miracle system and other stuff like that). I should have a look at Phantom Hourglass, I guess.
