BatterUP bat controller for SNES

I remember a friend having one and maybe using it a long time ago. Here's a link to the Wikipedia article for those that have never heard of it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BatterUP. Just came across it online tonight and I'm curious about it. Anyone have experience with it? I've been looking at this site for a while now but have just now created an account. You'll be hearing more from me.

not since using it as a kid. considering a lot of games used to be fun back then. i'd be afraid to break something now with it.
