too awesome, Nathan. you really gave this event what it needed ;]

the composer for god of war had me fuming a bit, to be honest. being a music producer and sound designer, i think you should have knowledge of whatever you're getting into. especially when it's something as incredible as the Snatcher soundtrack. or the friggin' Game Boy boot sound! what a douche. these kinds of people should stick to Hollywood. or Hollywood should keep out of video games. either would do nicely.

Agreed. I don't have a Sega CD so I haven't heard either of the soundtracks (though I have heard of Snatcher), but he didn't know the Game Boy boot sound? This guy should be fired from video games.

I'm a big fan Nathan. You seriously know how to put on a good show. What's up with nobody knowing any Genesis games?? There should have been at least someone who knew the answers to your questions!

Yeah he didnt know what the Gameboy start up sound was!!! That was pretty shocking to me.

As far as the Keith tv project goes it's still in the works. We've written a few drafts. Been getting notes and addressing things. Trying to make them happy and still keep it something we like. We may be hearing something on it before Christmas. If I get any big news the 1st thing I'm doing is posting it here. Before I even tell my parents. So keep your analogs crossed!

It kind of annoys me that there are people out there in the games industry that don't even really know or care about games. I wonder how that guy got into composing music for games; I imagine it wasn't his intention when he was younger.

I guess what I mean is, most of us here are more into games and know more about them than some people working in the industry.

Oh and awesome video Nathan. Keep up the good work.

But now Mario just runs in circles even if I let go of the sticks!

Also, I was seriously shocked at how blatantly transparent a lot of these people were. Some of them sounded like they just got fed a bunch of names and titles to remember before walking out there.

Tony Hawk I'll let pass though, that man is actually a pretty big gamer.

Also, most current sound designers must die..... Mister "I composed a little title called God of War 1, 2 & 3" was way too full of himself. If only Jesper Kyd was there, that man knows how to work an old school sound chip or an orchestra to the max and is a pretty humble guy.

I'm kind of disappointed Nathan hasn't made a post for this video. I hope I'm not I'm aware there is a video link dump thread. Anyway, I thought it was hilarious.

He actually gets recognized (as Trael Lewous) by Dominic Monaghan. I guess those characters really do look a lot alike, but a man's only got one face.
