Metroid prime for snes? That would be sick. Anyway, snes is the way to go. Ack nailed every point I was gonna say lol
If you're nice, I'd be willing for part with my copy for a few hundred :D
Haha, I'm not interested, I'm just wonderng how metroid PRIME could be on SNES

That's a good point.
But you can do that with the Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World cart for Mario Bros. Admittedly though, there's no way to my knowledge to play the original Zelda and Metroid on a SNES, though you could play Metroid II via the Super Game Boy.

Like you said, it can be done with the Mario games, but not with Zelda, Metroid, Punch-Out, Kirby, MegaMan or Final Fantasy, heck even Donkey Kong. And in the OP's first post he mentioned Zelda. I think you have to start with the original, you can't play a Link to the Past and then go to The Legend of Zelda. I don't look at this as only having a SNES or a NES. It's a where to start. I say you start with the NES and then move up the SNES. You can't start with a SNES and then go back to a NES. Plus I'd say overalll the NES games you want to play are still cheaper than the top SNES games.

Well, that only works if you in live in CousinFuck. :D I don't know the OP's location, so based off that I'd still say start at the beginning and work your way up.
