Back in college I discovered a secret for making ice cream even better. You know how when you make an ice cream sundae and put the toppings on top, you're left with a big hunk of ice cream at the end with no toppings? What I do is first take my bowl and lay down a base layer of toppings. Then I add my ice cream on top, and then put toppings on top of that. That way you always can have a spoonful with toppings.

I'm sorry, I just have to say this. I do not like Cookies and Cream ice cream. I never have, and I likely never will. Something about it to me comes off as disgusting, just as it does with Cookie Dough ice cream and Birthday Cake ice cream.

Now Rocky Road, I'm good with that. Chocolate-based ice cream is what I eat, though something like Mint Chocolate Chip I'm happy to make an exception.

Yeah, I do that. I love my sprinkles. Gotta layer them so they don't disappear after the first few bites!

Yeah, my mother used to make homemade vanilla back when I was a kid. We'd sit out on the back porch during summertime eating it with a bunch of friends in between games of hide and seek or Duck Tales...good times.
