What are you thankful for this Year?
With the end of the year drawing near and so many people are stuck in shopping mode for family, friends and maybe even themselves.
Just thought we might take a moment to just say what we are thankful for in this thread or have been thankful for over this past year....
I for one am thankful for my family and the new addition coming in February....
[also thankful for the fact that Obama is kicking his smoking habit]

Let's see...
I'm thankful for the time I got to spend with my family members that I see about once every blue moon.
I'm also thankful that I've made some good grades this semester. (Always thankful for that!)
And I'm thankful that exams are almost over!

Re: What are you thankful for this Year?
I'm thankful for my lovely wife (been very patient and understanding with some big issues lately), for the home that we have, for the great parties we've been able to throw, and for great friends I've known for a long time still being around to hang out. This year has been hard on us with sudden deaths of family/friends, being laid off from work (and difficulties of finding a new job), and family health issues... BUT it has also been good since we bought a new home and moved out, learned how to ride motorcycles (and own one), and the birth of a new relative. I just hope that 2011 goes a little bit smoother than 2010 rather than being on a rollercoaster of highs and lows.
Of course I would like to add video games to this list; too many great memories to not mention at all

I'm thankful for all the emotionally painful things that happened to me that I learned so much from, my family, another successful semester, and my video game collection.

September was probably the worst month of my life - but I learned a lot from it! I'm thankful that I have the best friends in the world, that helped me get through it.
Also, I'm thankful for Super Meat Boy.

Family and friends. A job i enjoy (though getting paid more would make me a little more thankful
). A good church and good health. It's been a pretty good year and i probably should be more thankful for it.
