I don't know if this really counts, but I found Diddy Kong Racing to be atrocious. It sold remarkably well for the N64 though.

You're not alone, Ack. I hated it as well. The controls just plained suck, not to mention I hit a game breaking glitch half way through the game. I even bought ONM because it had a full guide for it, and I followed it to the T and it still wouldn't let me progress. Fuck that game.

Considering I got the game when it first came out, and I haven't played it since. No sorry. I can't remember unfortunately. I can't even remember at what point the game fucked up. I just know it did.

Going back to Diddy Kong Racing, I seem to be one of the only people on this board who actually greatly enjoyed the game. The battle modes were much more creative than MK64, and in my opinion, so were the main tracks. The fact that you can choose between 3 vehicles makes it even better!

Same here! I wish DKRDS had the exact same characters as the original, but of course Banjo and Conker couldn't be used. >_>

I'd consider picking it up if it had Wi-Fi. Does anyone know if it does?

People just aren't getting the point of this thread, no matter how often it's said.

Superman 64 was never touted by nintendo as an amazing exclusive, only on the N64. From what I understand, thats the point of this thread.


Anyhow, I'm gonna throw out some Mega Drive games. I love the system, but games like Kid Chameleon, Alex Kidd in Enchanted Castle & Super Thunder Blade - blurgh.

I may get slammed for this but, I thought Shadow Of The Collossus was a decent game but was plagued with major camera and control issues that just about ruined the game for me. While the idea and graphics looked great, the gameplay and camera was very rough.

Ehhh going out on a limb here but....Halo really was sucky for me, i tried multipul times to play it and get into it, they all failed miserably i thought it was the most boring and uncreative game i had ever played when i was 14, so i tried Reach last week....was sorly dissapointed, this highly revered exclusive title really blows for me.

I got a long list of reason why i think it sucks but id rather not be flamed to death :S

Other than that when i got Oni for the PS2 when it was first out i remeber the excitement i had for the shear idea of this game. popped it in, played for an hour, took it out and put it at the back of my closet.
