Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

So quick question. I've beaten the second title, and am interested in the third, but should I go back and play the first, or is it worth going back since I've beaten Uncharted 2?

The first game is a great adventure - the story is really enjoyable, the slight amount of exploration is really fun and some of the environments look fantastic (even for an early PS3 title). However, the gameplay is not as refined as Uncharted 2 and I can imagine it would feel a bit jarring going from one to the other. For one thing, the original Uncharted suffers from an abundance of dumb, scripted, but unfairly accurate enemies and some poor level design that leads to bottleneck situations where it's difficult to progress (especially on the higher difficulties).

I loved Uncharted 2. Definitely the best game of this generation. I love Indiana Jones and this game made me feel like I was immersed in a Indy style adventure.

I'd go back to the first one. Sure the gameplay is not the same but the story is top notch. It's a neat game and needs to be played. I enjoyed it more than UC2 but thats just me.

Younger? I think he looks a little more butch, or scruffy. Actually, if you kinda think about it, he kinda looks like David Borenez or whatever his name is, the guy who played Angel.

Hopefully we get a teaser trailer on Saturday at the Video Game Awards and not just an announcement. Too bad I won't be able to watch the award show cause UFC 124: St-Pierre Vs. Koscheck 2 is on. Uncharted 2 is probably one of my top 5 favorite video games of all time so as many others have stated this is definitely a day one buy.

What do you think of the current cover?

The cover is not bad. I think he looks a little to clean looking for there being a explosion right behind him. Maybe some facial hair with some tears in his shirt and a little blood would help. Just my opinion.

Meh. I wasn't too thrilled by Uncharted 2. And I may have only tried the demo for Uncharted 1 but from what I played it was kinda terrible. Uncharted 3 isn't on my watch list.
