Anyone else find this game easier then the other Dodonpachi's?
If it's easier than DaiOuJou, it's likely easy. :P

My copy came in the mail recently, and I have greatly enjoyed it. Definitely a worthy sequel, and a fun game. I also heard there was another one announced almost right away, a Black Label. Is that going to be DLC, or a separate release altogether? Anyway, I used the coupon code to pre-order the Muchi-Pork next Cave Shooter. I also pre-ordered a new Dreamcast Shooter called Fast Striker, looked interesting.

What else is on the Horizon for us Shooter fans? I enjoy collecting these gems as much as playing them.

Just got my copy of Daifukkatsu today, only had a quick go, but it seems awesome, if a little easier in the beginning stages than previous DDP games.

It's going to be both and both will be available on February 3rd - the DLC version costs 1200 MS points, while the retail version will cost ¥5,040. It sounds like it'll be worth getting the retail version though, as it adds an Arranged mode that uses the ships and scoring system from Ketsui!

Well, other than the MMP/Pink Sweets double pack, and the retail version of the Daifukkatsu Black Label, there's Bullet Soul (a shooter from 5pb with art by the guy behind popular manga/anime Bakemonogatari) and Eschatos (vertical shooter from Qute). I don't know of any other retail releases, but there's a fair number of XBLA games for shmup fans next year;

Bangai O HD
Dangun Feveron
Otomedius Excellent
Radiant Silvergun
Seisou Kouki Strania (G-Rev's new shooter)
Trouble Witches AC

I've got no idea - 1.51 is crazy, I definitely haven't got the hang of it. I've mostly been playing Arrange B which is a ton of fun and has a great scoring system.

Yeah, there's already a topic about it round here somewhere - good news for non-JP 360 owners. Also, both the standard and Limited Editions will be region free - the LE includes soundtracks for both games and a download code for the Cave Festival edition of MMP (which is MMP, but with Pink Sweets bosses).
