For Saturn & SegaCD
Before I make some verbatim coaster I was going to ask you guys.. Is it as easy as changing the WAV's or MP3's included with the ISO to change the music in games?
Does my music have to be the exact same length as the audio I'm replacing?
I'm going to try to play with it with one of the emulators and see if I can get it to work for now but any information you guys can give me would be appreciated.

most games just changing the tracks will do... there just has to be the same number of them. This is with MOST games, but not all. A couple may have issues with it because it may call the audio tracks by the timestamp instead of via the TOC.
If you take images that are .bin/mp3, or .iso/mp3... just swap out the .mp3 files and alter the .cue sheet to reference the proper names (or rename to what the original are) and pop them into an emulator to try it out before burning.
I know this can be done with games like Sonic CD because I've done it myself to put the Jap soundtrack on the US version.

I took the Sega-CD game Android Assault which had 18 tracks of audio. I found out by listening to them which one was the intro track and the 1st level music. I replaced them with huge MP3s and then re ran the files though the Sega Cue Creator and then burned with Nero. ALl worked just as planned. Time to make a few more ..
I think sometime I can play better with faster or more rhythm oriented music. Don't get me wrong .. I still keep all my original copies of the games with the original music.. I just think it cool to have a few in the wallet that are "custom".
