Gameboy DMG headphones?
Hey guys, long time lurker, first time poster.
I recently picked up a nearly complete in box original gameboy at a flea market. Despite a small rip in one corner of the box, it's in remarkable condition for it's age. I thought it was complete because it includes a mini poster, business reply mail cards, the manual for the gameboy, the manual for tetris AND the tetris cartridge...but when I read the box more carefully I saw that it originally included small headphones, which are missing.
Does anybody know if these are difficult to come by? I'd like this thing to be 100% complete for my collection but if I can't find those headphones I might just sell it the way it is.

actually I've been looking for those headphones myself. I'd imagine they wouldn't cost too much if you found a pair. They're the blue & red earbud version.

$33? That's nuts. anyway, as those are the Japanese ones, I don't know if they are the same red/blue style as the US ones.
Re: Gameboy DMG headphones?
I just picked up an original Gameboy last weekend that included the system and games in a nice carry case with the original headphones. Luckly the pair I found are free of any 20 year old ear wax.
I have never seen a pair of these in the wild. I remember thinking how awesome they were when I first got my Gameboy as that was the first time I ever saw earbuds. I used to rock those buds with the Walkman and the Gameboy on the bus.

haha yeah, 33 dollars is more than I paid for the system. It's cool to see some out there though. Every time I try to search online all it comes up with is the SP headphones.

well I have an original GB box on its way to my house as we speak. Here's hoping the earbuds are inside.

You need to put something in your location.

You need to put something in your location. For some reason, I thought you were located in the midwest, like MN.
oh weird! I always thought my location was there. Yeah I'm in Southcoast MA.
