And if I owned a 3D0, you could bet that would be my choice. But since I don't...

How do you know a remake wouldn't actually wind up as a decent game?

Actually, in line with the topic, Sword of the Samurai (PC, '91) should get the same treatment Pirates! got in '04.

been waiting for Spy vs. Spy IV for over a decade now ( "Spies in Space" )

the Xbox crap game don't count

also there was a rumor about IK+ in space, where'd that go?

Uridium could probably use a sequel/face-lift (make it a trilogy finally?)

LotR - the top-view-cRPG's back from the 90's need the last part (only two first were made)

Full Throttle sequel? has it been abandoned completely now?

Elite could use a facelift (although the Acorn version does kick ass; I'd still love to see a new version) (yes, I own the X-series as well, but still, Braben and Bell need to cool down and get this sorted out)

someone mentioned that Dragon Wars was supposed to be a trilogy (spiritual successor to Bard's Tale), where it at? (I know of Devil's Whiskey, but haven't bought it yet, for unknown reasons)

a new Cannon Fodder/remake of the old?

Nuclear War - come on.. at least give us Multiplayer!!

Rick Dangerous (also need to be a trilogy)

Times of Lore could use an update (remake)

Knights of Legend - either release the scenario disks or remake the game
I'm all for releasing the scenario disks

LoZ - Oracle of (??) supposed to be a trilogy, only two games were released!!

remake Ultima V in the xu4 engine, please...

and probably a couple of more, these are just at the top of my head....
C-64 will never die
- only the players

Havent they gone on record saying that, after you complete both of the games, the unlocked end part where you fight *SPOILER* Gannon *SPOILER* was the third game, condensed down to just the end section and officially decided it was just going to be two games?

Somebody else also mentioned bringing policenauts stateside but really, is there any need with the fan-translation for ps1? The people who wanted to play it got to and if you havent yet and want to, why havent you? Its really a well done translation and an awesome game!

Oh, and they should make another REAL Shining Force game, not those crappy action-rpgs or the emotion-less gba Shining Souls series. A REAL hd Castlevania would be nice also (the 360 one just doesn't count at all) and, instead of the explore everywhere metroid-vania formula, why not a tradtitional side-sroller again? The moves section in Lords of Shadow just seems to be a tease of them being fully capable of this and just deciding not to. Oh, and SSX would be fun if they REALLY went crazy with the map design, and PLEASE, NO MOTION CONTROL GIMMICKS!!!

EDIT: While on this subject, Donkey Kong Country Returns is friggin awesome! Super hard but great; In a lot of ways, much better than the originals. My only complaint are how some of the moves require shaking. Its not even a learning curve complaint moreso than sometimes, the wii just doesnt register me as having shook the damn thing, ruining the flow of things. Wish the shake functions were just mapped to a button.

Exile/XZR: They should re-release all three on the DS and then make more games.

Oh, and Shenmue. Finish the damn series already. We also need more Jet Set/Grind Radio.
