Put in my nomination for Lost Planet 2. Game blew me away! One of the few games I play regularly, months after buying it.

Also, Red Dead Redemption. In an underpopulated genre, RDR more than compensates for its lack of peers. They don't ever need to make another Western game again.

On the handheld side of the coin, Ghost Trick on the DS (US release coming soon) and Peace Walker, but Peace Walker really, REALLY dropped the ball with its untweakable boss fights and lack of online support. How often are you gonna be in the same room as other people who have PSPs and that game?

Just bought it yesterday and I'm waiting for it in the mail. The trailers look absolutely amazing. Canvas Curse was pure magic and it was the single reason I bought a DS back in 05?. I was never much of a Kirby fan before Canvas Curse though. Hopefully this game is just as good.

Probably Super Mario Galaxy 2 but I haven't played it yet. I STILL have to finish the first one.

So I'll give it to Donkey Kong Country Returns.

Oh heck yes! While it wouldn't be my GOTY, it's still a magical little game.

I simply cannot pick one game. I'm having loads of fun with the new Donkey Kong. Also, mad props to Borderlands (PC) + expansions. Sweet times with sevin, Hobie, Hobie's friend, and a couple other people here on the forums

Then there's the new Goldeneye

Amnesia: The Dark Descent was my favorite of 2010, but I didn't play too many big time releases.

You have no idea how hard I tried to tie that game in with my company, which sells yarn. Great demographic, and a great game to relate to our product.
