New Atari 2600 Jr. + Weird game!

Post by Riqz85 »

I never thought i'd buy one but a deal came up and I couldnt say no.
It's a PAL Atari 2600 Jr in great condition and working order.
Came with two games. Midnight Magic... and a weirder one... named "Fantastic Game".

I never realised these multi game cartridges existed. It has ripoffs of other games named Pac Kong and Donkey Man etc... It's pretty funny. To choose which game to play (8 in 1) you have to make a combination on the 3 switches. Anyone have any of these? Are they pretty common?

that Multi is cool, never seen that.. however, Midnight Magic absolutely RULES.. one of my favorite pinball games of all time.. I remember spending so much time with this game trying to get the highest score. (975,000 is my highest) Really want to dig out the 'ol 2600 and give it a few rounds.

This is what today's games are missing. Toggle switches.

I mean... is it really easier to make toggle switches than to make a software menu? lol

Hey, when you're working on games where the entire code is 2, 4, or 8K you don't have the space to spare for fancy shmancy menus. The real question is why didn't they just let you use the Select Game switch on the console to cycle through them.
