Great find! I've been using Nanoloop and Nanovoice myself via GB emulator, but this seems better! Thanks!

Have you ever checked out Milky Tracker? I've seen people make some pretty neat chiptunes with it... I think there is a video floating around the net of a chiptune in action on it. Thanks again.

also if anyone is interested, there's a Commodore64 SID emulator VST plugin which is very good (IMO) called Unkown 64, which can be used in any VST host (i.e. Cubase, Live etc.). Some of the arpeggios will bring you right back to your childhood by just holding down one note on the keyboard :) . The demo (which is still very usable) can be gotten here:

it's very nice looking too :D :

There is also Triforce

Its a great VST plugin that emulated the NES sound chipset.

Yeah they have some great "Free"synths and FX. I have donated to them a few times.. I used a few of their plugs with in a set I did and I decided to kick them back some money for their programing time.

Milkytracker is really great for making chiptunes, and because of its sample / waveform draw feature, you don't have to rely on any 3rd party samples to create chiptunes :)

Also, If you're interested in making NES-sounding music/chiptunes I recommend trying FamiTracker, a very good NSF tracker for windows. Very easy to work if you're familiar with tracker like programs.

I'm too stupid to use trackers :s lol

I've tried a few times too eheh

Even Renoise and Aodix, which I heard were the easiest ones to use, I just can look at things moving downwards eheh

I sat for hours and hours trying to figure out Renoise.

You slowly get the hang of it, but I don't believe it's as easy as some people make it seem. There is a link on Renoise's help page with video tutorials. Those were what got me over the hump.
