Has anyone tried the Majin demo?
Its one of the games that piqued my curiosity. I've only played it a few minutes before I left on a trip, but am curious what other people think. In that brief time, I've formed three impressions.
* It's pretty. It is, in fact, very pretty.
* The controls are awkward. Not necessarily bad, just awkward. Maybe in time I could come to grips with them.
* The voice-over work drives me nuts. When I saw the big beast I was expecting it to have some nice other-world elemental voice. It sounds like Barney the Dinosaur after sniffing glue.
I literally did not get far to come away with a reasonable opinion. I got to the point where you are supposed to pull a lever by jumping on the dude's back, and had to quit. That's what -- about five minutes in?

I played it. Wasn't too impressed. The combat was kinda fun and I'm a complete sucker for stealth kills so the sneaking section was nice. Other than that though the game seemed pretty unremarkable and like you said the voice acting (And the general feel/atmosphere of the game) made it feel like something that was intended for little kids, and that really turned me off.
I feel old when talking to anyone my age yet too inexperienced to effectively talk to anyone older. Life is grand that way.

It's one of those games that I didn't have much info on, yet a few screenshots made me interested in it. I gotta say its a fun game. Not amazing, but fun.
If you kinda think about it, it's like The Last Guardian for little kids, in concept. I wouldn't spend 60, or even 40 bucks on this though. I'd say 20 bucks is more reasonable.

I tried the demo. Boring graphics, awful voice work and derivative gameplay. Feels like a bargain bin title to me
