Yeah, you gotta get away from the larger cities. Both of the GameStops in Dekalb are incredible if you're ever in that area. Also, if you're ever in that area, give me a holler!l0whit07 wrote: Also every GameStop I went to, probably 7 or so of them, no longer sell DS games with cases. Every single one cart only.I guess I was spoiled in Louisville. Some great used stores and the Gamestops almost always have cases for stuff.

Thanks for the heads up! Wish I would have known that earlier. I'm leaving this area and going to San Diego tomorrow.

sweet deal man. I usually see it go for around that price cart-only.l0whit07 wrote:

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Someone ELSE got a good deal on 2 TG16's w/ power supplies and controllers... ten minutes before the auction ended my internet (and apparently alot others) went out. When it came back several hours later I checked and saw it sold for only a dollar more than my max bid.
Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
That's too bad. I hate when you find out that you lost an auction when you're that close to it.
Luckily, my TurboGrafx bid wasn't out-bid. So I got:
One TurboGrafx-16 console (with necessary cords)
Two TurboGrafx-16 controllers
One TurboGrafx-16 TurboTap
And four sports games and Keith Courage
For about $75 shipped. It seems to be a fairly decent price considering that the system seems to go for about $40, the controllers are listed for $11.50 each on eStarland, the TurboTap is listed for $10.95 on the same website and the games are pretty much anywhere between $5 and $10 each. Then add shipping to Canada on top of that. I'm happy with the $75 I spent on it.
Even though it's pretty close to what I'd pay elsewhere, add in the fact that I got a complete Splatterhouse for $4 recently and I'm pretty happy with my little TurboGrafx-16 collection thus far. I even have a duplicate Keith Courage now

Gamecube with GB player(disc too) and all the hook ups. Also got a copy of Super Mario Land 2. All for $45, not great but hell it was worth it considering my extensive gb collection.

Scored this great Saturn lot on Sunday from a local kijiji ad.
Boxed Sega Saturn Model 1 (plus cords, two controllers - one chunky pad and a mad catz - as well as VF2/Daytona/Virtua Cop pack in, demo disc, manual, stickers...everything). Also got these other games, all of which are complete for the most part (I think one game's missing some of its manual):
Resident Evil
Gungriffon
Wing Arms
Thunder Strike 2
Shockwave Assault
Manx TT Superbike
Daytona USA CCE
Virtua Cop 2
Valora Valley Golf
Worldwide Soccer
Myst
Die Hard Trilogy
Total cost: $75
