Playstation link.

Post by Xelyx »

I found an old issue of GamePro (Issue 143, August 200) and in the "Buyers Beware" section there is a question about the radar glitch in the Versus mode of Armored Core: Master of Arena. One offered solution is to link two Playstations together. As I didn't know you could connect two Playstation consoles, I'm asking if anyone here can tell me how it's done, and if any games actually support this feature. Thanks ahead of time.

The Playstation link was a dedicated cable that is only used for about a dozen games.

I only did it for Wipeout once, it was cool but it was no Virtual On

I actually tried Google first, though it appears I used the wrong search words. Thank you both for the excellent responses, though.

I remember having 2 PS1 mice, 2 TVs and 2 PS1s in the living room playing Red Alert against my buddy. That was awesome. Although after a while the game begins to lag and then becomes unplayable. Which is really frustrating. Especially when you've both spent hours building impregnable fortresses.

I used to play the hell out of Red alert on the ps1 (before I was into pc gaming) and always wanted to do this, sadly never happened though :(

Visiting this site and forum regularly will be the death of me...or at least my wallet :)

Never knew this existed...too bad there weren't more super awesome games that supported it. CC, AC, and Bushido Blade would make it a worthwhile purchase for me.
