If you played this on original hardware, we have a new candidate for most physically demanding game beaten this year.

You bet your bippy I played it on the original hardware! On top of the pain the game gave to my back and shoulders, I've also been painting my new house. So far, Wario Land has been the only relaxing part of my weekend, and I'm enjoying it while it lasts.

Woo, finally beat this one! In the past, I'd never been able to beat the clock tower, where you have to run and jump over the gears to make it. But this time it just clicked, and I made it to the final run of bosses for the first time. After Death, Dracula felt like somewhat of a let down, but I suppose that's generally how Castlevanias go.

I messed around in hard mode, but the thought of playing through it again doesn't really appeal to me right now. Plus, I don't want to have to face the dancers again. Of the whole game, that's easily my least favorite boss battle.

I love Castlevania IV. It was my go-to game for awhile. I've passed it dozens of times.

So I got bored and decided I'd go play another game. Turns out this little Disney platformer from Capcom is extremely forgiving, so I managed to finish it relatively quickly. The only real challenges in this game for me were a couple of later boss fights, but that's ok. The artwork and music were both rather soothing actually, so I had a good time playing it.

Same here. One of the best for the snes indeed.

All the bosses seem fairly tame to me. Once in a while the twin dragons will catch me off guard, and will lead to me drowning, but if I'm equipped with the boomerang, I have no worries. Also, right before dracula you have that level where the floor keeps rising, and one false step leads to death.

I've already beaten Super Castlervania IV this year, but I might beat it again tonight depending on good the MNF game is. The game is a masterpiece, and I always love listening to the soundtrack, which is unbelievable.

Rage HD is awesome - I hope they release more episodes. I am also stoked for the actual game.

Like every other 16-bit Sonic title, Sonic CD is one of the best platformers of all time. Amazing music, crisp graphics, and spot on control.

You get all the emeralds?

Also, I'd like to know your favorite "song" for the game. I believe mine is the third stage, "past". Sounds really rustic, almost jungle like but incorporates the "orchestra hit" sound that made techno in the 90's so popular.
