If you download and play a pirated copy of the Michael Jackson Experience on the DS, all the visual cues and on screen prompts are removed, and the music is drowned out in vuvuzelas

My favorite is in Pokemon Black/White where if it detected a pirate copy it just didn't give you XP in battles.

I remember the first 'X - Beyond the frontier' would let you play for a couple of hours before setting your cash to Zero, preventing you from doing anything else in the game, even save. Cunning.

This actually shows a bit of humour on the half of some programmer, I like that.
