And I have no idea of what causes it. I already checked all conections and everything is fine.
It turns off, and if I turn it on inmediatedly it doesn't last long. If I wait, it will probably work. Sometimes it lasts forever, other times it doesn't last an hour. The CPU is not to blame, there's no CPU overheat message.
So, any ideas?

Virus or your RAM bus is overflowing. Turn off the programs that open on start up.

Sound like a malfunctioning power supply unit to me.

Agree, could be the power supply starting to go, especially if the wattage is low. Were there components added in the last few months?

What I thought as well.ZeroAX wrote:Sound like a malfunctioning power supply unit to me.
What PSU do you have and what hardware are you running (list everything including all your fans, HDDs, RAM modules, fancy lights, USB powered coffee warmers, everything)
We need as much info as possible. What you've told us so far is about as useful as asking you to guess what colour I'm thinking of right now.

Re: My PC randomly turns off
Boot a linux live CD, that will tell you whether it's your software or your hardware. Run memtest86+ and mprime on the live CD to stress the hardware. If that doesn't crash it, it's probably a virus. Otherwise bad PS or RAM.
