Slot loading Playstation

Post by optmusprimenumber »

see it's beauty...

marvel at its function...

...which makes me think... any one ever mod a PS so that there are two memory cards built in (with no memory card slots)? (or w/ a saturn even... ram card, or memory card, or action replay etc?)

with THOSE tiny memory cards? ewwwww no way. Hope you don't have too many psx games or you're screwed with a whopping 32 blocks of data to save on.

Looks like the memory card slots have been relocated to the back.

I saw this mod quite a while back, as I recall, he used an old Mac drive, front loader, and modded a PSX drive unit to fit into the section internally by removing the normal drive unit; he did a good job, however didn't document the work.

Question, how come this mod is in a thread not generated from the modder himself? (usually that's the norm, as it's their choice where something is uploaded to?)
