Did I miss something? What's the deal with that? Why is it out of print? It only came out a few years ago.
edit: Super Paper Mario has been re-issued as a Nintendo Selects title.
Is Super Paper Mario out of print right now?

Why, did you read that somewhere? I could have swore I saw some copies at Target the other week. Then again I was surprised to see they had about 5 copies of Prime Trilogy about 2 months ago.

No, I didn't read that anywhere, that's why I'm asking. There's no new copies on Amazon or any where else I searched. Though I found one on the Best Buy site, but it turned out to be used. Actual new, sealed copies are selling for no less than $70, and used copies are selling for a decent amount as well. But why? The game is only 3 years old.corn619 wrote:Why, did you read that somewhere? I could have swore I saw some copies at Target the other week. Sounds like the Princess Peach affect. Really small print run.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

But I thought it was a fairly popular series. No? I'm just confused, it makes no sense to me. I feel like I'm out of the loop or something.

They knew it was so different, so they didn't bother to make that many because they thought it wouldnt sell well!

But according to this site...
http://gamrreview.vgchartz.com/sales/44 ... per-mario/
...it sold almost 3 million world wide, and since it came out in 2007, I can't see how that's bad. Even if they didn't think it was gonna sell well, why stop making copies completely? Why not make new copies? It's just weird.
The game seems to be in pretty high demand right now, too.

I suggest sending an email to Nintendo and see what they have to say.

"Dear Nintendo, Why did you stop making copies of Super Paper Mario?" You think I'd get an answer?
I don't bother asking the companies anymore after I contacted Ubisoft via email about Far Cry Vengeance. I told support the game was full of bugs, some of which cause the game to freeze, and will there ever be any patches to fix the problems. My reply was, "Your disc is damaged you should take it back to the retailer for a replacement." So I tell them my disc is fine, the bugs are in the game code, I'm just wondering if there will ever be any patches to correct the problems. Support replies, "If your disc came damaged you should take it back to the retailer for a replacement." I reply back explaining that my disc is fine, if I got a replacement it would have the same problems, and that it I feel like I'm taking to a wall. Support replies, "If the disc is damaged then take it back for a replacement. I'm marking this case as solved."
