You're thinking of Sumo Santa and Bad Mister Frosty. Frosty's a ClayFighter staple, but Sumo Santa can only be found in ClayFighter 63 1/3

Also, as was pointed out in those past threads, Parasite Eve and Blue Stinger are excellent choices for Christmas horror. Follow them up by watching Black Christmas, Santa's Slay, Gremlins, and Jack Frost...the one about the snow man serial killer, not the family film.

Jack Frost is hilarious. Though I must confess Black Xmas is a rare instance where I prefer the remake to the original Black Christmas. Also recommend Christmas Evil and Silent Night Deadly Night.

There are ice and snow levels in many Super Mario games, if you want wintery feel. Also SSX is fun if you like snowboarding games. I had alot of fun playing Tricky way back when.

As someone else said, Parasite Eve is set during chrismtmas time.

Im suprised no one has mentioned Snathcher. While they never explicitely state the date the game is taking place, when you go to Alton square its playing Christmas music and has a holiday theme. Cant say the rest of the game is very cheery, but hey, Who really needs another reason to replay Snatcher.

After four years Mission in Snowdriftland is back up. This time with indie game goodies (like wallpapers and avatars) instead of Nintendo goodies. A new level will be unlocked every day until Christmas! Eff, collecting those snowflakes is hard.

Quite surprised nobody has mentioned, in this thread or the 2 linked ones, The Grinch on the Dreamcast.

Great seasonal game.
