Help - Games With Christmas Themes

Post by Gnashvar »

Hi everyone. Since it's already december I've decided to play games with holidays or christmas themes. The only one I can think of right now is the Christmas Nights for the Saturn. Any others I should play?

I'm pretty sure that one of the Clay Fighter games features an evil santa claus and a snowman character.

Maybe the two Snowboard Kids games? It's very wintery at least, you collect presents to get weapons, etc.

Xmas Lemmings '91 & '92 are two short, freely available Lemmings games with just 8 levels between them. Christmas Lemmings '94 is a larger package that was sold at retail, with 16 new levels, 16 levels from Christmas Lemmings '93 included for free and two-player variants of all the levels.

James Pond 2: RoboCod is Christmas-themed as the eponymous fishy secret agent has to infiltrate the North Pole and rescue Santa and his workers from Dr. Maybe.

Also, there's a platformer on Megadrive called 'Daze Before Christmas' that I haven't played.

Yeah I think I will include things that give you that winter feeling. Thanks for the idea I'm buying 1080 Snowboarding for the Virtual Console and I will give that Snowboard Kids games a try.

Die Hard popped into my head. Could play the Die Hard Collection on PSX or the PC game they made.

Secret of Mana. At one point you fight a Giga Santa at the North Pole.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
