A few questions about saturn mod chip.

Post by TTU Saturn owner »

I just bought a saturn from a local game shop and im very interested in purchasing a mod chip. I have the round button 64 pin model. Ive done a lot of searching and some sites suggest the 64 pin model has a lot of complications. Has anyone here purchased racketboy's modchip for a 64 pin saturn? Does the A+B method work best, or soldering the signal wire to pin 8? Also, I hate to sound like a cheapskate but if i purchase a modchip and it doesnt work on my saturn, what is racketboy's return policy on chips? Sorry if these questions have been asked a thousand times over, i just cant seem to find a clear answer to whether or not I can mod my saturn. Thanks in advance

Hi there and thanks for your interest!

I have a good exchange policy as long as its a 32-pin machine.
64-pinners are mod-at-your-own-risk

I'll let everyone else answer the other questions :)
