Wait for the dvd release!! I thought i was witty and really really funny, but the songs kinda gave me a headache from being to "cute." I'm a musician, and i love lo-fi and indie stuff, but i kept waiting for the songs to end. Otherwise great movie.
A couple movies I really liked that I saw recently were:
Paprika: Satoshi Kon's new flick. Great animation and story. Realy creative characters. Same with Juno tho, music was drivin me nuts. Get a clue Satoshi no more crappy techno!
The Darjeeling Limited: New Wes Anderson film. Funny, quirky, and great cinematography! If you liked any of his movies (Bottle Rocket, Rushmore, Royal Taunenbaums, Life Aquatic) you're really dig this.
The Taste of Tea: Really unique Japanese indie film, you'll just have to trust me and watch it.
