Pioneer Laserdisc w/ Sega Module

Does anyone use this to play their Sega games? Is it awesome? Or dumb? It seems like a novelty item... but I also have a decent LD collection still, and I'm contemplating looking into one of these...

No. The price is so high for one you would end up never using it in fear of accidentally damaging it.

I've got one, picked it up for about $50 off eBay. Don't listen to the naysayers, this thing rules.
