I also whenever I see some hapless soul selling his games to Gamestop for pennies on the dollar.

I'm not ballsy enough to try it, but I wonder what will happen if you tell the guy trading his games in that you'll offer him 50% more than whatever Gamestop is offering.

I have done that. I was thrown out of the store and get this, he was selling dreamcast games and system and this was two years ago when gamestop never carried the system anymore

Psh, at my GameStop, they'd tell me I was smart. If I ever see someone selling their stuff there (which I never have, oddly enough), I'll offer them more than GS if I've got the cash on me.
