At the risk of getting reprimanded, and since I just dropped money for RSG (ty mmjr) I'm curious as to how people feel about

Einhander vs. Radiant Silvergun. afaik those are the two big shmups for those platforms right?

Personally, while I love both, I prefer Einhander.

The world is extremely well realized, and I love the Blade Runner theme that runs through the game. Radiant Silvergun's world doesn't feel as developed to me.

Radiant Silvergun is great no doubt, but I find the game to be a tad overrated. The soundtrack is phenomenal, but so is Einhander's. I think that RSG is just a bit overrated honestly. It's a great game, but it's nowhere near worth the price tag is been placed under.

I also enjoy the weapon system in Einhander more as well.

I have both, and I am leaning towards the hype machine. I've been playing RSG for over 10 years, and I still love it. It puts me into somewhat of a trance when I really get into it. Einhander is fun to play, but I am still on planet earth when I play it.

Just got RSG in the mail, let me tell you, it is at least equally epic.

Definitely both are epic.
