Just got into Balloon Fight

I've always loved the Balloon Fight franchise, but it wasn't until this weekend until I actually sat down and dedicated a few hours to getting good at it. I love the simplicity. Such a brilliant little game.

So far my high score in Fight mode is 328,500, and 31,750 in FLight mode.

Although I do question a morality issue. I'm playing this with the PocketNES emulator on my GBA. As far as I can tell, it emulates Ballon Fight perfectly, even without any blatant sprite squishing due to the screen size.

Do you think these count as actual high scores, or should I buy a NES and do it legit?

It's simple yet fun game. I don't own the cart so I play it in Animal Crossing GC. It saves your high scores

oh my that game rules. it's definitely one of my favorite NES titles. and I agree with above, it's awesome on Animal Crossing

Sure the high scores count... but only in your own personal pocket arcade. Any serious run at a high score has gotta be on legit hardware and software. Even official emulators, like the Wii's Virtual Console, are tracked seperately. According to http://www.twingalaxies.com the current world record for game "A" of Balloon Fight is north of 4 million. if you wanna stick with the GBA you could either get the Famicom Mini version, or for less $ you could nab the e-Reader version.
