Multiple sites have listed The Elder Scrolls III - Morrowind as compatible with the 360, however today I tried to play it and I was told I couldn't.
It is the PAL I tried both 50hz (Which is listed as working) and 60hz modes, anyone shed some light?

EDIT: My 360 is up to date, I also tested GTA VC and Shenmue 2 both of which worked on my 360 so its game specific.

Cant help to much but i can tell you that my copy works flawlessly. Its the GOTY edition if that helps.
Re: Morrowind - Backwards Compatible?
From my experience I think only the GOTY edition works, as I have a copy of the original and it won't work as well.

I just tested the GOTY version and it worked, although it's a lot more buggy and glitchy on the 360. I don't know about the normal version of the game though.
Re: Morrowind - Backwards Compatible?
I know for a fact that the GOTY works and the original doesn't. I've only tested this with USA stuff though.

Pain in the ass, oh well guess I am going to have to dust off that big ass paper weight of a console.

Or buy the GOTY for like £3
Re: Morrowind - Backwards Compatible?
I picked up the normal copy for $3, no need to get the GOTY edition, I never played Morrowind (Though finished Oblivion) so I thought since it was cheap I would give it a play through, dont really want to go hunting for a copy.

We haven't used pounds since 1966. Not giving you shit, just pointing it out for future referenceBigTinz wrote:Or buy the GOTY for like £3

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.
Re: Morrowind - Backwards Compatible?
yeah, my NTSC GOTY edition works, but only in the sense that it will start up and will attempt to run, but I wouldn't bother. My system has locked up every time I have tried to play it. I go by the rule that, if you want an original xbox game to run right, run it on an original xbox. (Although Panzer Dragoon is GORGEOUS running on a 360).
Systems: Atari 7800, NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Saturn, Dreamcast, PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, Game Boy Pocket (2), Game Boy Color, GBA SP (2), DS
