Re: Racketboy Meetup at IVGHOF Big Bang 2011?
Sure, if everyone else can supply everything; I don't have Bomberman or an SNES/Genesis.
I was thinking we could do some LAN, as I'm attempting to get my hands on the last things I need for a GameCube LAN. Also, 5 TV 5 GCN Four Swords Adventures anyone? We can make everyone jealous by setting something like that up. And I can essentially supply everything for a Pac-Man Vs. 2 TV setup by myself, outside of the TVs. But I'm sure you guys can help with that...

I have a modded Saturn and a multi-tap, so we could get Bomberman going with 6 players at least. I also have a GC with GB player & flash cart, so that's an option too. Would Faceball 2000 (AKA Midi Maze) work on GB Players? I was also thinking about linking Zero Tolerance on the Genesis, but that only takes 2 players. Would still be damned cool though.

Cool with the Bomberman; I don't have a Saturn either so I can't help there. I'm not sure if Faceball would work with GB Players, though I suppose it's worth a shot. I have a GB link cable and I can test the GB Players with Pokemon over the break. I have a four-player GBA link cable now, so if anyone has a Pokemon GBA game (Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/FireRed/LeafGreen) we could do a double battle. Or we could just do Pokemon Colosseum, but that's no fun. Or we could set up Colosseum with the GB Players hooked up Four Swords style.Hatta wrote:I have a modded Saturn and a multi-tap, so we could get Bomberman going with 6 players at least. I'm definitely considering this. It'd be a 5-6 hour drive but it sounds like a blast.

I'd be coming from Omaha which would be about a 5 hour drive, so you wouldn't be the only one making a trip.

I'm coming from northern Illinois so it will be about a 4-5 hour drive for me. But seriously, hanging out with some of the biggest names in video gaming history and making everyone else jealous of your retro gaming setup is too big to pass up for me.
