iPod 5th Gen Repair Service?

Post by Lo0kY »

I have a 5G iPod Video (80GB) here which is in need of some restoration and needs a new headphone port (Only hears from the left side). Been doing some research on where I can send it to get this done, but not sure which place is good to get this done.

Any suggestions?

Hope you tried another set of headphones because a lot of the time it's not the unit but rather bad wires in the headphones that cause monaural.
 (FC, AVFC, NES, SFC x2, SNES, N64, GC x2, Wii x2)*(G&W x7, GB, GBpocket, GBASP, DS-L x2)
(GEN, SS x3, DC x3)*(PCE-Duo)*(Xbox:500GB)*(NGCDZ, NGPC)*(PS1, PStwo, PS3:160GB, PSP.3K)

I've tried other head phones and thats not the case. From what I've read on other forums that I need to replace the audio jack. I'd do it my self, but kinda scared that I might mess up something lolz.

I bought my 5th gen ipod broken from craigslist and attempted the repair, its quite easy, only trouble you may run into is opening up the ipod
