This is starting to drive me up the wall. Recently my mouse has been acting really over sensitive, and quite often it'll double click when I click once, or if I'm dragging something it'll keep letting go of it. It also makes drawing a pain in the arse as it'll keep leaving gaps. Sometimes it shuts off completely, with the infrared light switching off, and wakes back up if you drop it from a few centimeters. Does anyone think this may be a setting in the mouse properties I need to change, or maybe it's time I got a new mouse, even though this one is only about six months old?
Also, my tablet board does this as well, so maybe it's a setting?
PC Mouse is going nuts
Optical mice go senile quite often. I recommend a Logitech MX series.

I've had my red MX510 for 3-4 years now and it still performs flawlessly.

Good to hear that. I also picked up the $20 RatPadz XT and it came with little mouse feet things that further enhanced it.devilmyarse wrote:I second that notion. My MX510 has been through hell and back, that thing has been dropped, swung, smashed, thrown against walls, the lot and it still works perfectly!

I love it. It's so accurate now.
