Just curious if anyone has used the services at www.eStarland.com
It looks like they let you trade in items you have and give you credit toward items on their site, etc... The one thing that makes me nervous about the whole thing is that you can't see the condition of the items you'd be buying.
Anyway, any user comments or reviews?

Re: eStarland
Many many years ago i heard very bad things about them. My attempts at ordering stuff from them turned out to be all "back ordered" so I wouldn't be able to tell you much else.

I've looked into it, but never done it. I've bought from them (they were great), but never traded in. They deduct for missing boxes, manuals, etc and a lot of times it seems that the trade-in-values weren't as good as me trading to you dudes here.
Re: eStarland
That's sort of what I was thinking too noise. Their trade-in values are pretty low unless you've got the box and manual. I like the whole idea, but it's one that if not done properly could be awful.
On the plus side though, they do offer a notification system to let you know when an out-of-stock item comes in. I'm on the list for the Hori Gamecube Pad.
Thanks guys!

eStarland is great. I've never got an item from there that wasn't in working condition - only once did I have to clean a cartridge I bought from them, and that's like 1 out of 50. The disc-based games I've bought from them are also in very good condition - my copy of Terminator for the Sega CD has one light scuff on it, and that's the worst I've ever seen from them. They shrink-wrap the products they sell too.
Definitely recommended.

Re: eStarland
Great, thanks for the replies, I'll definitely have to keep them in mind for the future. Have you guys had any experience with their trade-in system?
