At first, I prefered Return of the Jedi, but later on liking Empire strikes back. How many games have the battle of Hoth?

How many games have the battle of Hoth?

Answer: Not enough, though admittedly I'm not always a fan of Hoth levels. Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy's flying Hoth level was one of my least favorite levels in the game, and I'm not a big fan of the Super Star Wars series in general. That said, the NES Empire Strikes Back game's Hoth levels were amazing to me, especially when I had to take down the legion of AT-ATs.

Empire Strikes Back was my favorite of the Star Wars series, for several reasons: one, it revealed more of the Empire's capabilities and influences and revealed how perilous the Rebel's situation really was. Two, it revealed Yoda and gave greater detail to the Force beyond the admittedly limited information Obi-wan Kenobi gave in A New Hope. Three, bounty hunters.

Yeah, that's the one. You were supposed to use the land speeder grapple to pull those boulders into the walls, but probe droids would come along and tether themselves to them, making the physics wonky. It quickly became an exercise in frustration.

Kersh was a good friend of my fathers. I talked to him on the phone several times and he was a very down to earth guy. Well he also use to tell us that he knew Vader - which for a kid in the 80s that was pretty awesome (knowing he owned a Yoda was even more awesome when I got older). I never did get to meet him face to face, I was going to a couple years ago but after he had his stroke we canceled our trip across the country. He was good friends with another famous name in scifi - Ray Bradbury.

My father talked to his son earlier today actually. It still hits him pretty hard.
