Leslie was a king in a genre I thoroughly enjoyed before all the "Scary Movie." "Epic Movie," "X Movie," etc. spoofs ruined it. The Naked Gun and Airplane movies are all classics in their own right, and he had a hell of a career before and after those films.

Surely, this is a damn shame...

Aw, jeez. Why is it always the actually funny ones who have to go?
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I am shocked... I've been watching his movies since I was a kid. While his recent movies were terrible they do not in any way take away from his classics.
