thanks all!

Things are shaping up quite nicely - I am pretty sure that we have now passed last year's # of items - and I expect more before the day is over!

Some people still owe promised pictures, too...

Ok, I think I am caught up so far. Here's a mid-day update for what we have so far - it may help you think about what you still want to donate:

~10 working or broken systems or system/game bundles

GAMES:
Intellivision/Colecovision/2600/5200 - 2 games
Odyssey2 - 4 games
NES - 2 games
SMS/7800 - 0 games
TG16/PCE/PCE-CD - 0 games
Genesis - 12 games
32X/Sega CD - 0 games
SNES - 4 games
N64 - 15 games
Saturn - 22 games
PS1 - 26 games
DC - 23 games
PS2 - 9 games
GCN - 4 games
XBX - 2 games
360- 1 game
PS3 - 3 games
Wii - 5 games
GB/GBC - 8 games + one big bundle
NGPC - 3 games
PSP/DS/other handhelds - 5 games
PC/MAC - ~20 games
"Other" Games - 4 games

ACCESSORIES:
~20 things

OTHER MEDIA:
DVDs - 45+ titles, including some cool season box sets
CDs - 1 CD
Print - at least 25 individual auction items, some of which are lots of 20-30+ comic books, magazines, etc.)

I must say, there's a very healthy representation of anime/manga and anime/manga-inspired stuff across the "other media" section!

OTHER STUFF:
-Several signed items
-About 20 other mostly-game related items including action figures, clothing, art, electronics, posters, etc.
-A few "intangible" items :D
-We have also had a few prizes donated, which will go out randomly to bidders at auction end - need to figure out how, still...
-Some software/hardware items that don't fit neatly into the categories above...

So we have a good set of things - more than last year at this point but I'd really like to see even more come in today - I am expecting it from several of you!

I missed out on last year's, almost did this year too. I just talked to my friend today (that I don't see too often) and he thinks he has a lot of stuff in his basement he could donate. It'll miss the deadline this year, but I told him to hold onto it for next year. :D

Last year we added lots of items after the auction start, but I'd rather not do that this year. That said, exceptions might be made for anything uber-rare, coveted, or unique that would fetch a substantial amount of money.

I doubt he has anything that's not super common. I just wish I could have asked him about it sooner to get the items in this year's auction. There's always next year!
