To me Halo SP is about as bland as DICE games. Even the CoD games, which have inadvertently become parodies of themselves, offer more thrills and spills than Halo. I'm far too disappointed by Halo 3 to even consider Reach. It might be good, but in a flooded genre why should I bother, when there are overlooked games like Singularity which are definitely worth seeking out?

Oh as opposed to the semi-universal praise that's considered undisputed scientific fact or something. It might shock you but even Citizen Kane receives its share of criticism, and there are people who don't believe in gravity. Amazing times innit?

Bottom-line: Halo is just a game series, some take offence rather too easily.

I'm sorry but I disagree.. DICE is much better than Activision/CoD.. I've played FPS for about 15 years, and I can safely say that BFBC 2 is much more polished than anything from MW2 and beyond..

People need to really back off the series. It is a decent FPS.....Not great...Not terrible. The only reason why most people hate the game is a fanbase and it's popularity.

SP = Single/solo play. Only FPS I play MP is in fact the BF series. Too many acronyms sorry

I did. It is just rather irritating to see so much hate spewed for a somewhat good game.

I agree, Halo is not a bad series by any means, and I did have my share of fun with Halo 1's MP. Hate is also too strong an emotion for a piece of digital entertainment, but even basic words can be watered down and misused.

Fans shouldn't be so Kevin Smith toward punters though.

Well I think both are a push to be honest.. But I can see your point.. Most consider the CoD campaign over BF.. I can safely say that the MP is superior with BF and that's suppose to be CoD's strong point..
