PS2 Codebreaker Not Displaying
I'm having some trouble getting my PS2 Codebreaker disc to work. Whenever I start it up, my TV screen goes black for a couple seconds, then turns into a blue "No Signal" screen. I have tried both component and composite cables, so that's not the problem. What could be wrong? The version of CB I am using is 10.1.
Re: PS2 Codebreaker Not Displaying
Maybe an odd chance of Codebreaker going to a resolution your TV doesn't support. Is it an LCD? Could be a bad disc, confirm on an older CRT.

Re: PS2 Codebreaker Not Displaying
This is probably a stupid question, but is there anything I can do to my PS2 or TV? I really don't want to have to move my PS2; it's in a great spot where it is.
Re: PS2 Codebreaker Not Displaying
If all your other games work fine, suspect a chance it is a bad disc or a wrong region one.
First maybe confirm if Codebreaker even works. Try it temporarily on a regular CRT.

Re: PS2 Codebreaker Not Displaying
I have a softmodded PS2, so I downloaded an .elf of Codebreaker, which gave me the same error, so it is safe to assume the problem has nothing to do with the disc drive. Should I still try on another TV?
Re: PS2 Codebreaker Not Displaying
Probably a bad ELF or wrong region. Only way to know is trying it on a full older video resolution support of the CRT.
I know my original PS2 Action Replay Max doesn't boot when installed in HDAdvance/HDloader. I know the codes would not have worked, wanted to use the Media Manager.

Re: PS2 Codebreaker Not Displaying
I just tested it on my CRT, and it gave me the same problem. I tried cleaning the disc and trying a new .elf, but nothing changes. What could be the problem? I am also having problems loading a burned version of Action Replay Max Evo, which freezes at the "Loading User Settings" screen. Is there something wrong with my PS2? All my other games work fine.
Re: PS2 Codebreaker Not Displaying
Seems to be bad copies, or heavy protection. Noticed you have a new post trying to buy one. Its good to have an original for durability, especially a highly used disc such as Action Replay.

Re: PS2 Codebreaker Not Displaying
Well, now I'm almost certain that there's a problem with my PS2. I just got a brand new, never-used Action Replay for the PS2, and I get the same error as before. Weird.
EDIT: I found a solution, but I have no idea why it works. If I remove all devices [Network adapter, Hard Drive, Memory Cards, Controllers, USB Devices, etc.], and start either one of the cheat discs, they load! I hate having to remove these each time I want to use the disc, but hey, it's better than nothing.
