I am into shmups... I was just looking for something to watch on the comfort of my couch on a big screen rather than in front of my computer for once. haha.

Chasing the Ghost: Beyond the Arcade is a worthy watch. Not too obscure. It revolves around the classic arcade players, many of whom were seen in King of Kong. There's definitely a torrent floating around.

It's not a history of video games per say, but the documentary Second Skin is available on Netflix. Here's the description:

Not sure if these are on Netflix yet, but a couple to watch for.


History Channel
Modern Marvels 80s tech. All kinds of back in time technology from the 80s including Video Games, Simon, Brick Cell Phone and the Delorean.
I'm gonna have to buy this episode on DVD.


G4 TV
Obnoxious loud game reviews similar to what you see in Gamestop. However does have a few Retro segments and game guides that are interesting.
