Dreamcast VMU screen bleeding
Dreamcast VMU screen bleeding
My Dreacast VMU screen has this particular thing, once you connect it to a pad the screen will start to bleed inside, I dunno if this is normal but it happened before with another VMU I got years ago in DC hey day, so it's not this VMU fault, it a thing that happens to all VMUs. What I wanna know is what causes this, it seems to occur in the winter so I'd say cold/humidity and how can it be solved. If anyone needs more details I'll give them, I'm just typing a quick message 'cause I'm kinda tired today. Thanks in advance for reading this stuff.

I store it on my room, at normal temperature. Did I mentions that the VMU only bleed on the area surrounding the 128 pixels screen, as in the icons area for example? It will also only bleed when connected to the Dreamcast, if I plug it to the pad but the pad isn't connected to the DC it won't bleed. Also the bleeding will occur even if the DC is off, this is because the DC internal battery keeps feeding the VMU I suppose. Hence the reason why I'm sure it's a electrical problem, but like I said I don't think much can be done, this also happened with a different brand new VMU, a different brand new Dreamcast in a different house years ago. I'm just wondering if other people who certenly had the same problem found a way to avoid this or know what causes this and if it can be avoided. The Apprentice wrote:Where do you store the VMUs (as in location and temperature)
