I think it's amusing that it used to be pc gamers that were constantly accused of being graphics whores, but now that's almost all I hear console only gamers going on about.

I really like the early to mid 90s graphical style, specifically for PC games.

For 3d I prefer my games to be fast and stable, pretty is secondary. Give me a locked 45 frames, and it can look like Half Life or Goldeneye for all I care. I prefer my "pretty" as art style. A game like Alice is a perfect example. It is rock solid, but not that pretty, even when it came out. However it is still the best PC platformer I have ever played.
