i hadn't touched my copy of shining force 2 in years and (knock on wood) i have had no troubles with saves. my housemate said he tried my copy of legend of zelda and he was able to save as well. weird but cool. no if that shining force 2 battery dies all of a sudden i'll be ticked off!
