I just thought of a good one they could make: Time Splitters trilogy!
But they really need to start making some of these collections for Xbox 360 as well.

Here's a full res screen of Scott Pilgrim for xbox. It runs at 720p. But all they've done is designed it at 320x180 and enlarged it 4x. So it's not HD pixel art anymore than Sonic 2 on xbox is.

Super Pixel Art II Turbo HD Remix can't exist in HD? How in the Blue Blazes can you say something like that? I may not be the King of Pixel Art XIII, but I'm pretty sure there's more than a few games that fit the bill.

It depends on your definition of pixel art. If pixel art is defined just as the way the art is created, then I have no idea if this is pixel art. Yoshi's story could be considered pixel art if someone designed the graphics at the pixel level. I doubt very much that they did this. These fighting games, or other HD 2D games, like muramasa, look handdrawn. Technically any 2D sprite is composed of pixels. But I think when most people think of pixel art they're imagining sprites created at a low resolution. Once you have enough resolution that the individual pixels are hardly visible, I don't think it counts as pixel art.

To me, it sounds like your saying 3D can be HD but 2D can't be just cause. I mean, the God of War Collection and many of these other 3D HD Remixes are nothing more than the original game scaled up to 720p. Might be a few slight touch-ups, but they are very slight.

If you can just scale 3D games up and call it HD, why then can't Marvel vs Capcom 2 scaled up and put through a filter also be called HD? It's the same amount of work - hell, maybe even more work.

Heh. I also don't have an avatar and also suffer from color-blindness.

Well, I don't suffer all that much, but it has screwed me over a couple of times.

I never ever said 2D can't be HD. I said taking old 2D games and making them HD causes their style to change completely. If you were to take nes megaman and convert the game to HD the pixel art style would disappear.
