What about Pinbot (NES)? We had that game when I was a kid and it was pretty stylin'.
Seriously, it's robots plus pinball. How can you go wrong?

Though the side drains sure seem to suck the ball down an awful lot. Been forever since I've played an actual machine so I don't remember if the real table was like that.

Nice link - I've got some shopping to do now..dsheinem wrote:Hmmm...Rurouni_Fencer wrote:[I'd say going for every handheld or console pinball game would be a pretty ambitious project, but a mighty impressive looking one when completed!
Might be a fun collecting project for next year...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:P ... ideo_games shows 66 games, but I know there are obviously more.
So far, my "Most Want To Try Out" games are Jaki Crush, Revenge of the Gator, and the Williams Collection on my 360 (for the HD and cheevies..)
How's Odama, by the way? I've been meaning to show my lonely Gamecube some love in the next few months, and I skipped over this one.. Worth it..?
Re: Video Pinball
I forgot to mention in my previous post:
Mile High Pinball on the N-Gage. One of few worthwhile exclusives on the system.
The ball physics is flawed and the table design is not that good (it tries to make up quality with quantity), but the concept is just that great.
The power-ups, enemies, and it had rumble well before Metroid Prime Pinball, so probably the first handheld Pinball game with rumble.
I really wish someone would do the same on-going table idea with great table design and physics.
With so many fans of Pinball of the Dead (of which I already said I don't like the physics or table design there) I think some of you would quite enjoy this game.

I've only given it a few goes so far myself. It hasn't grabbed me yet, but it might just be that I haven't quite figure out what I'm doing with the microphone.Rurouni_Fencer wrote: How's Odama, by the way? I want to say that Pinbot was known for the ball drains, but I was never really a huge Pinbot fan so I could be wrong. Even though I still own a copy the NES one is bad, so is High Speed as well, a table I really do enjoy.

Nope, Pokemon Pinball on the game boy color had it a few years before the NGage was even released - AND it has good table design imoIvo wrote:I forgot to mention in my previous post:

Nice to know. I wasn't aware of a rumble setting there! I'll try to get it to play on my GBA thenalienjesus wrote:Nope, Pokemon Pinball on the game boy color had it a few years before the NGage was even released - AND it has good table design imoIvo wrote:(...) and it had rumble well before Metroid Prime Pinball, so probably the first handheld Pinball game with rumble.

Mile High Pinball is still pretty solid despite its obvious flaws. Check it out on youtube or something. It isn't worth the price of admission on the N-Gage, but despite the bad reputation, there are high-quality exclusives (High Seize, for one).

High Speed was the first table really geared towards ramps and loops I remember playing. I really liked it too and was disappointed it isn't on the Williams collections.the King wrote:... so is High Speed as well, a table I really do enjoy.

When I was thinking about buying a table High Speed was on my short list along with Cyclone(think the theme works great for pinball). I wish both were on the Williams collection.
