Black = Death
Very true. On Long Island (in Valley Stream... a few towns over) a Walmart employee was trampled to death like 2 years ago on black friday. The whole thing was caught on camera and you can usually find it on youtube. Pretty much everyone ignored him dead and kept shopping.
The only thing I'll be snagging is Tekken 6 (360) for $9.99 at Best Buy. I'm not waking up and getting trampled to death at 5am to get it either.
Black Friday, It sucks, not worth any bother, always a pain to go ANYWHERE, EARLY AS SHIT, I never have money to buy anything anyway, and I always get drug along to make sure my female members of my family don't get murdered (which I have gotten into fist fights with random people for NO reason other than the fact I get pissed off at idiots who throw punches at OLD WOMEN for some shit they don't even need.) Speaking of GODDAMN IT it's almost that time again.
Asshole who punched me in the back of the head last year better get ready.

How does that work actually? If the sale begins at 12:00am at a 24 hour store, what's to stop people from coming in a day earlier, grabbing the item and loitering around til the sale goes into effect?
While we don't have "black fridays here" something similar happens when there are big discounts. The doors are always packed full of old ladies that will do anything to save a buck. You know those old ladies that cut in line and then say "Oh, dear, i didn't see you were theeere" when they obviously did? Well, now they are angry and they are coming after you.

i love this day. i think it's a hilarious exercise in human weakness. i spend most of the morning laughing at people, literally to their face, and watch as nothing happens.
i'll probably not buy anything again this year, but i'll definitely be at the stores.
